About a Boy

It’s no surprise that I typically opt for dresses or skirts, but the onset of current menswear-inspired ensembles has left me wonderfully intrigued.  Whether it’s accomplished through a sleek blazer, some tailored pants or a wide belt, these three ladies have nailed the look while still looking decidedly feminine.  Here are some of pieces that I’m thinking of incorporating into my wardrobe:

blazers.jpg

3.1 Phillip Lim, Cotton Jersey Blazer: $395.
Forever 21, Sporty Chic Blazer: $17.99.
Elizabeth & James, Ruched Sleeve Blazer: $375.

Anthropologie, Biscayne Trousers: $98.
Miu Miu, Crepe Cropped Harem Pants: $520.
Charlotte Russe, Window Pane Plaid Trousers: $30.99.

3-belts.jpg

dELiAs, Poppy belt: $14.50
Tory Burch, Ticking Stripe Belt: $175.
Arden B., Square Stud Stretch Belt: $19.50

What about you, my lovelies? Will you be giving this masculine look a try?

Love this look. Banana Republic actually has the perfect blazer that you can roll up the sleeves and make casual or dressy. It’s $ 150 but worth every penny I already wore it to a fashion event this week.
