H&M Sweater, Vintage Slip, Madewell Belt, Vintage Bracelets, Seychelles Booties, Cupcakes and Cashmere for Coach Bag
This past weekend was productive in the most relaxing of ways, but with little to show for it. No indulgent desserts were made and my list of creative projects remained untouched, but at least there are no more piles of dirty clothes on the floor. After several hours spent at the laundromat, we went out for sushi where I promptly spilled soy sauce all over my sweater. Quite the ironic way to end the day, but that happens nearly every time I wear all white regardless.

{Bright yellow blowdriers make up a fun chandelier}
Don’t you just love when a good idea is executed perfectly? Enter Dry Bar, a hip little salon in Brentwood that only offers blowouts. My friend and I dropped in yesterday for a fabulous session and we’re already planning our next visit. They have different blowouts to choose from like “Manhattan,” (sleek and smooth) “Mai Tai,” (messy and beachy) or “Cosmopolitan” (loose curls). Whatever you pick, you’ll be sure to leave feeling beautiful and bubbly, thanks to their excellent staff and complimentary mimosas.

The name “onion ring” is truly deceptive. It makes you feel like you’re simply eating a little sliver of onion and not much else. Definitely not the case. Last night for the Lakers game, I surprised my boyfriend with a batch of old fashioned onion rings (recipe here). I had never fried anything before and promptly changed into an outfit that more closely resembled a bee keeper since I imagined hot oil splashing all over my arms (again, not the case). They made for a fun and indulgent appetizer and had I been able to stop myself from eating so many, I’d make them again for the next game.
