Last night was so chilly I could have sworn fall had descended upon L.A. I’ve been desperately awaiting the arrival of cooler weather, but after I pulled our heavier blanket out of the closet, I realized I wasn’t quite ready. In a last ditch effort to enjoy the flavors of summer, I made chocolate-covered strawberries that I ate out on my balcony…wrapped in my blanket.

Last week I received an email from Coach inviting me to attend several events during New York Fashion Week. The invitation alone was exciting in itself, but was only topped by the fact that they’re generously taking care of all my travel accommodations. Needless to say, I am ecstatic. It will be my first time attending high profile fashion events in New York (including one at Coach’s flagship store) and I want to dress the part. Wish Dress, Foley +Corrina Bag, Anthropologie Headband, Switch Ring, Sam Edelman Heels
A few months back, when I visited Wish studios, I picked out this little dress as a way to fulfill my ice skater fantasies. The sweet ruffles, periwinkle color and cinched waist are great for when it’s too hot to accessorize with cascading necklaces and constricting belts. I haven’t played around with it yet, but I’m already envisioning ways to bring it into my fall wardrobe because I love it so much.

I’ve been searching a while for the right stones for my Etsy shop and my new necklaces are now available. I’ve added a few black druzzy agates to my line (which will be perfect for fall as well) as some sugary white stones and amethyst clusters.
