As evidenced by my two trips to the desert in the past eight months (here and here), I’ve become hopelessly addicted to Palm Springs. The dry heat and slow pace have always been draws, but lately it’s the interior design of their boutique hotels that has completely converted me. Though I realize it’s not realistic to redecorate my apartment after each trip, I’m convinced that Korakia‘s decor is my favorite yet and I’m thisclose to making a reservation for sometime in June. What do you think…are the Moroccan courtyards, fire-pit lined pools and all-white bedding worth the 2 hour drive?

Remember this ring that I professed my love for back in February? After a bit of research, I decided that working with druzy agates (which are highly pigmented stones made up of tiny quartz crystals) would be the perfect idea for my Etsy shop. Not only can I decide the exact colors and shapes that I like most, but I can make and sell them for a lot less than something like this. I just finished my first batch of necklaces and they’re unbelievably sparkly and unique. You can find the pink necklace that I’m wearing (among others) in my Etsy shop that officially opens on Monday!
