One of my readers introduced me to She Hit Pause Studios and I immediately fell for their whimsical Polaroids that are divided into groups like Girls and Dreams, Coney Island and Flowers.  The blurry details add a rather haunting effect and I love how the props only add to the dream sequence-like feel.  Don’t they make you want to just put on a sundress and run around in a field of dandelions?

Club Monaco Tank, H&M Skirt, Vintage Bracelet , F21 Ring, Essie Lacquered Up Nail Polish, Tory Burch Booties

This past week, I was delightfully surprised when I found the very pair of Tory Burch patent booties that I’ve been coveting on Gilt Groupe in my size.  Their gold tipped soles and zippered sides add a nice touch to the shiny croc patent and believe it or not, they’re unbelievably comfortable.  Plus, they give me a reason to whip out the awkward just-above-the-ankle socks I’ve had since 8th grade to avoid blisters.  If you’re interested in checking out Gilt Groupe and would like an invite, just leave me a comment and I’ll make sure you’re all set up.

Bare Feet

When the weather gets warm enough so you can show a little leg, there’s nothing more alluring than a pair of nude sandals.  Besides the fact that they’re incredibly versatile, they have the ability to make even the shortest of legs (yours truly) seem miles long.  Here’s a roundup of some of the glossy patents and buttery leathers that just beg for cherry red toenails.

Huckleberry Cafe

Boyfriend’s Button-down, Gryson Bag, BDG Pants, Tory Burch Orange Flats

On Saturday, my boyfriend and I headed down to the beach to try out the newly opened Huckleberry Cafe.  Instead of the usual cozy decor of most bakeries, the stone floor and and open space created a Parisian feel that was filled with home baked treats.  I ordered the fennel sausage and grilled onion frittata with an espresso can panna and one of their fluffy sugar donuts as a perfect way to start the weekend.

Also, thank you to everyone for your lovely comments about my tulle necklace give-away and future Etsy shop.  I used Random.org and the winner is #122.

Congratulations to Stacey, of the adorable blog, Love and Photographs.
